Seguin Chick-fil-a Executive Summary/ Products & Services Repost

On-Campus Chick-fil-a Executive Summary

Anna Trevino and McKenzie Sells

There is no history of a Chick-Fil-A being in Seguin, TX, and with Texas Lutheran University being such a big attraction to Seguin, a Chick-Fil-a would influence the community relationships and economy within the campus and outside. The population of TLU is growing and in need of a variety of dining options on campus, besides Lucky's and Hein Dining Hall.  Our mission is to bring a variety of fast food to Seguin, Tx, specifically Chick-Fil-A to TLU, and our vision is to see Chick-Fil-A come and bring the community and the student population together.
We began by creating a survey and we posted the survey on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter so anyone could voluntarily let us know what they think about a Chick-fil-a closer to them,. as well as contacting the mayor of Seguin. We believe asking the student population of TLU what they wish to have will be beneficial for us in order to bring in a variety of business. The result that we plan on achieving is having a new Chick-fil-a restaurant open on the TLU campus to provide their product and service to its students, visitors, and residents of Seguin. We got 68 responses to the survey, where 99% of the voters chose yes to having a Chick-fil-a in Seguin. We want to make sure this restaurant is accessible to both students and residents to Seguin as well, so they do not have to drive as far for the same meal, and also to foster relationship with students.

As far as funding goes we hope to receive donations from the city of Seguin, TLU donors, TLU Alumni. If it gets approved then Chick-Fil-A will finance their own franchise.
It is our mission to gather the TLU community and get people involved in campus activities to establish relationships and create diversity through increased food options at Texas Lutheran.
Adding a popular restaurant at the university helps the funding of school activities, provided by community residents who would likely come to campus to eat their food alongside students. We are students who knows the needs of other students and what we want and want we don’t want is taking an hour trip just to grab something to eat. These strengths provide revenue to the school, a variety of food for both students and residents, an increased opportunities to gather the community around good food.
Here is the data from our survey that shows how much students want this option and how often they go out of their way to eat it now.

Products, Programs and Services

Our organization is about promoting and rallying the citizens of Seguin as well as the corporation of Chick-fil-a in order to bring a future Chick-fil-a to the town, by creating a survey and identifying benefits of having an establishment like this in Seguin. Also, we are interested in seeing what it will do for the local community, including residents, students, and visitors to Seguin. We know that having a local and interactive business in a close community such as Seguin, is only beneficial and rewarding for the community.
If we succeed, we want to bring in more restaurants to Seguin in the future, providing an enhanced eating experience for anyone who wishes for more options in dining, especially since we will be well known and have established connections with the community. For quite a while, students at Texas Lutheran have longed for a closer Chick-fil-a than New Braunfels, so there is no doubt this business with succeed.
We will be satisfying the need of many Seguin residents and students, as well as making a difference in the community. Chick-fil-a gets the community involved in events, sponsorships, donating food, fundraisers, offering scholarships and events events like Daddy-Daughter Date Night. We hope that if this Chick-fil-a gets approved it will continue to make a positive change and impact on the community and customers. It is a great opportunity for the community to really grow like it does and be even more proud to live in Seguin.
Having to drive so far just to grab a bite to eat is inconvenient, and it takes the students away from attending events around campus or within the community. Students would appreciate a short drive or even a walk to go eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This would be a closer and safer walk compared to Whataburger and McDonalds. Chick-Fil-A would especially be a much healthier meal than the food served in Luckys or surrounding restaurants and health is very important these days.
