Hydration for Haiti Event Plan
Music that Matters

As an introduction to our non-profit, we will be hosting our first annual Music that Matters event. A family friendly day in Zilker park, Austin where the community can come together to support local upcoming bands as well as our non-profit. The event itself will be free of charge, with opportunities to donate to our cause. Music that Matters will span from two in the afternoon to nine at night, and will include local ameteur bands and feature headliners Up with People, Hillsong, and Portugal. The Man. Between sets we will have a speaker on behalf of Hydration for Haiti explaining our mission and vision.
We will be hosting food trucks that will offer the opportunity to help support our cause through the purchase of water. Fifty percent of the profit from bottled water that is purchased from the food trucks will be donated to our non-profit. There will also be a table set up with more information about the water crisis in Haiti, sponsoring families, and donating to the cause. People attending the event will have the opportunity to sign up to sponsor a family in need.
Our mission for Music that Matters is to spread awareness for our non profit, and bring value to our motto: “The universal language meets the foundation of life,” while bringing the community together each year through music.
